Auburn men’s, women’s basketball games against Mississippi State postponed – al.com

Auburn’s home game against Mississippi State has been postponed by the SEC due to inclement weather, the league announced Wednesday.
The game, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday night at Auburn Arena, earlier this week was moved to Thursday at 4 p.m. in anticipation of the winter storm sweeping through the region. But with icy conditions still remaining across the South, the SEC decided to postpone Thursday night’s game.
No makeup date has been set at this time.
Auburn is scheduled to return to the court on Saturday, when it travels to Baton Rouge, La., to take on LSU for a 3 p.m. tip-off on ESPN.
In addition to the postponement of the men’s game Thursday, the SEC also postponed the Auburn women’s basketball game at Mississippi State, which was set for Thursday. A makeup date for that game has yet to be set.
